The Malt House is set in a very tranquil area, surrounded by sprawling grounds and located in a friendly village. The hotel is perfectly situated for exploring the beautiful foothills of the Brecon Beacons, with lovely pubs conveniently located just across the road. The staff at this hotel go above and beyond to provide exceptional service, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and taken care of. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, with attention to detail evident in the added extras replenished daily. I particularly enjoyed the ensuite with a cracking shower, perfect for soothing my aching limbs after a long day of exploring. And let's not forget the delicious breakfast provided, with all options covered to start the day off right.
All was handled perfectly, no improvements needed.

The location of the hotel was ideal, situated in the heart of the village with easy access to the Brecon & Monmouthshire canal. The surrounding area offered stunning views of the nearby waterfalls, creating a picturesque atmosphere. having a pub conveniently located across the road was a great convenience for guests.
The quality of the poached eggs during breakfast could be improved. The eggs were overcooked and appeared to have been microwaved, detracting from an otherwise enjoyable dining experience.

Great location near pubs and village amenities. Excellent kitchen appliances and cutlery. The breakfast is delicious and served in a nice warm space.
Be aware if you book an attic room, as the low beams and steeply sloping ceilings could be uncomfortable, especially for taller people. The lack of TV in rooms may not be everyone's cup of tea but it does mean it's queit.

The hotel is set in a very tranquil area, nestled in the foothills of the Brecon Beacons. It's the perfect location for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and immerse themselves in nature. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near the pubs, which are more-or-less directly opposite, making it easy to enjoy a refreshing drink without having to travel far.
All was perfect, nothing to improve.

The location of the accommodation was fantastic, with beautiful views and easy access to the river. The room provided a very comfortable bed and a great shower, which was essential after a long day of exploring. The breakfast was also delicious, with a variety of options available to cater to different dietary requirements and preferences.
The check-in process was poorly organised and caused some delays. the room was quite small with a low ceiling, which made it difficult to move around comfortably.
